An Awesome picture.Β  But can you do any with a more mature face for us older guys.Β  I just think the muscle mass and maturity comes from years of gym work.

I don't do requests, and I don't like old women. There are plenty of other of other morphers who do that kind of thing.

OKΒ  I understand, but just consider this:.Β  Before your young Queen gained her dominance over the gym imagine the sight of her going one on one against the former Queen Muscle Beast.Β  Picture your young muscleΒ girl in a weight lifting competition or perhaps full contact ultimate warrior match defeating a nearly as massiveΒ hyper muscular Charlez Theron...older yes but still a beauty.

Anyway nice job and "Hail to the Queen"!

This midsection is great, love the way it expands from the waist up to the chest. Been trying to draw them in such a way recently, though with not much luck.

Thank you. I'm a sucker for powerful looking abs. Your midsections are fine, let me assure you. They look very strong and solid, very functional.

Nothing beats a good, mutual pat on the back, doesn't it. I'm also a sucker for abs, though perhaps not an overly devout one. They just are one of the best signifiers of, what you said, strenght and solidity.

Also, what I meant to say but failed, is that your stuff makes want to go thicker than just functional. I need to find new shapes, though I still have this barrier sometimes that I might end up drawing dudes in drag, and that's probably not my cup of tea. Still, with the way muscle mass works, it stays feminine only up to a point; when you get enough of it you end up with a very dude-looking body regardless, the only thing left visible might be a bit broader hips. A bit of a pickle if I'd want to stay in the quasi-realistic approach I very much prefer to draw and see in others. Sorry, I just got a bit rambly, it happens sometimes.

Well as long as the pat doesn't contain a knife, sure. And we haven't spoken in a while, so I guess you've been saving up. S'all good.

Your conundrum is one I feel as well. The only thing making my morphs 'female' is the intent behind it. I do what I can to 'fem' it up, but you're right, more mass = more androgyny. I guess it's what you feel comfortable with that's ultimately most important. I'm fine with what I make because I know what it looks like in my mind's eye, even if its not readily apparent because I couldn't quite make it look convincing. C'est la vie.

That's all true, and this is all very subjective, sometimes frustratingly so. The differences in perception and reception of one's work are in equal parts fascinating and annoying, especially when the intention, as you put it, isn't a cleanly presented one. Of course no one's gonna dwell about those issues in a pretty heavy fetish morph that's tailored to suit a very particular niche - and in this case primarily to suit your preference and creative freedom - but still, it's food for thought.Β

On the topic of androgyny, that one's also a toughie; a woman approaching, but not breaching, the borders of masculinity, especially in a stylised, artistic sort of way (think the 80s and Grace Jones), is a pretty fascinating subject. Likewise it's interesting in this fetish when a woman aproaches manhood with her body, yet, that's the crucial part, she doesn't sacrifice her feminine side with unnecessary butchness. That last part is perhaps what your Val does very well, at least in the visual side of things; the use of an unaltered, girly face constitutes that nicely. It is a bit harder in drawing, where it's extremely easy to mix feminine and masculine facial features and create utter confusion. I know some people out there are into it, but me - not so much. Suppose there's a balance to be found - the less masculine the body, the more square-jawed the face can be (again, Grace Jones); and that's also true in reverse - more oval face can equal more muscle mass - just like Val. Ironically enough, the squareness of jaw that the face model I use actually attracted me to her. What you said is true, drawing makes it hard to convey a particular look, and it's hard to balance detail and aesthetics sometimes unless you're the best artist in the world. I'm just of the mind that a woman with a square jaw is attractive even without muscle, but with muscle it lends an air of congruence with a muscular body. There are the sects of our fetish that butch everything out to the extreme, but there was one morpher a long time ago who wrote a tutorial and explained how a slightly thicker jaw in his opinion made the morph more 'believable' than using just a regular pretty face if that makes sense. I've experimented with making a jawline thicker, but it just didn't work for me.

JanRockitnik In reply to ninj4st4r [2018-03-21 15:35:24 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah, that's just about right about a thicker jawline, that's a "detail" that would definitely be picked up by the subconscious to elevate believability (never mind how strong the the suspension of disbelief has to be in this fetish). The construction of consistency in a piece of artwork is a really rewarding task, though perhaps not that often appreciated.

And yeah, I was talking out of my ass about Val's original model having a more oval face. Though her jaw isn't exactly square - rather has pronounced and long straight lines with a pointy chin when viewed from certain directions - still a feminine trait in the end. I had my forays into using thicker jaws, caricaturally on occasion, but I suppose I'm too conservative for that. It rarely ever works when tackled in a realistic manner, and it almost only does in cases of a firmly established art style - think Zebodoy, Ozzy, FX-Man, Ffuffle, and that's exaggerated to the max so it fits like a glove.

Guess that rationalization wasn't necessary, and probably isn't needed at all in the scope of this fetish but heck, I find it all the more fun when I draw this stuff knowing what works for me (and what might work for others).

It's always good to experiment and try new things, but ultimately the only way to truly thrive as an artist is to go with what works for you both stylistically and aesthetically. There's no sense in drawing or creating something that doesn't excite you. Valentina represents my fantasy level of muscle. The masculinity in the morphs is really just a byproduct of the medium used. If I could draw, I'd go for a ayanamifan or gettar82 style of art in terms of muscle mass, though with some alterations. Alas, this is the limit of what I'm capable of artistically, so this'll have to suffice. Valentina is not meant to be 'masculine', at least any moreso than an extreme female bodybuilder is. The masculinity projected in the morphs is simply a byproduct of limited skill on my part and the limitations imposed in the medium.
