I like where you're going with this experimentation. Dare I say Leo is starting to look a little attractive?

Attractive? I guess that's kind of what I was going for because when you think about it, I'm trying to come up with a style that's attractive to me. Now don't take that the wrong way but you have to like what your drawing and the way you're drawing it. Maybe I'll give him more of a neck and decrease the width of the shoulders for the next image. The real treat should be when I work on Mikey. I think of him as being shorter and cuter in appearance.
The thing that's probably noticeable about the swords is the way the fabric wraps around the handle.

Oh, yes the trailer. I saw it and I can say with confidence that this movie will do very well and Hell yeah it Rocked! I'll probably keep watching the flick until I get sick of it.
Glad you like the piece. I do to but I'll still do a little experimenting because like I said before with the previous Leo I did I wanted to make them more young looking. I guess I have that damn movie to thank for that.LOL!!

Yep, that's old man Leo for ya.LOL!! I guess that's why they tend to look old, the way I draw them. Maybe less wrinkles under the eyes will do the trick.

Nice portrait-type shot. His eyes in particular suit Leo well... a kind of intense, thoughtful expression in 'em. And that scar you generally give him looks cool here for some reason - I don't know if I ever noticed it going all the way past his mouth, too. That must've been one heck of a slice.

Thanks! The eyes look good I think and I can't really imagine drawing them without pupils even though I have done that in the past. It just tends to make them look soulless which maybe that's the intention. You can get so much more emotion with pupils drawn in.
The scar that you noticed with all of my Leo work was cooked up by me but then Mark drew a Leo pic for me as a trade which is something we do quite often and he drew the scar. It was on the wrong side but he added a curve to it that I liked so I decided to use it.
I don't know. The cut could've been from Karai or Shredder. I think I'm leaning towards Karai on this one.

WOW! that's awesome! what do the kanji on the side mean? I like his seriousness and all the shading, the swords and the texture you put in it. This is truly amazing friend.

The bold writing on the left says "Leonardo". The other writing on the right side of his head says "The life of a turtle can be rough." That sentence doesn't sound as good as I'd like it to only because the words I wanted weren't in the dictionary.
Thanks! I think the style of shading I have goin' on for this piece kind of makes it look a little more gritty which is what I'm going for.

Hmmm, maybe I should do.....let's say a picture of the 1990 movie Raph.....in the future. Oh I know I'm evil teasing you like that. The thought has crossed my mind on several occasions though as well as finishing that dang blasted sculpture.

Yeah, maybe I could do an older movie Raph but maybe just as an inked drawing. I've gotten lazy when it comes to coloring things. I don't know I might be feeling generous and color it to. All depends on the mood I guess.
Oh, I wouldn't worry about doing a picture for me. just send me over four of your turtles so I can mutate them. That should do.
