Description When I graduated with my doctorate in 2011, Robert Simpson gave me a prized book: "The Art of Drew Struzan."

In it was the inscription, "You got the Touch."

So... after months of studying this book, I thought, why not make a painting in the same style? The art of the illustrated poster has gone unappreciated. While I can't mimic Struzan's complex and rich style, I hope this will inspire more artists to follow suit.

(This is also an homage to the famous Transformers #1 cover by Bill Sienkiewicz)

I'd seriously take this version of the first movie poster over the official one. Simply because this captures the style of Drew Struzan but mostly because you homaged one of the most influential and recognizable covers from Transformers in their Marvel years. Outstanding work mate, simply outstanding.

HOLY SL*G that's amazing!!

I agree that modern PhotoShopped images can't compete with hand-drawn images, either traditional or digital. This poster is unique, and it really shows off your skills

I love how you added plot points like the infamous Witwicky glasses and the "meteor shower" scene, none of which appear in any official TF07 images
