Thats actually really similar to how i pictured it in my head... <3 my version was like this. Fiona was sleeping on a random hill after doing a battle, and she was really tired and didnt have the strength to make it back home. so she laid down in the grass. then in the middle of the night, when marshall had been wandering around, he found fiona lying there. he decided to seize the moment and just allow himself to look at her and gently play with her hair while she slept. i guess the point is... marshall usually has this act going on where he tries to be all cool and emotionless, but he decides its ok to let out his feelings... while shes sleeping. <3 <3 <3 thank you!
