One morning, when I was in Florida for a wedding, I found a snail on the ground. The zoom on my camera only goes so far, so I had to get on my belly and snap the picture.

Also, don't try to pick up a snail. You'll either get all slimy from it's underbelly or nearly rip the thing's shell off. Just from personal experience folks.
