I love this so much! Really draws you in, it looks awesome. The water and the row boat are my favourite parts. The water because of the way you've worked with the lily's and the reflection. The row boat is nicely centred and has a sense of texture. Great job this is frekin' awesome!!!

Often times my work centers on character because I love expressing an emotion or mood using a person, but this work reminds me that emotion can be communicated with environment and objects too, and sometimes to better effect than in depicting a person. I feel a sense of whimsy and melancholy looking at this boat floating alone, like there's some fading memory attached to it. I love textures and the highlight of gold/yellow at the back of the boat keeps drawing my eye back to this
