Actually she can, it is revealed in later episodes that gains the ability to switch in between forms. This does not necessarily improve the situation of any of the protagonists unfortunately.

I feel bad for Karai when she mutated, right when she gets back with splinter after 15 years, that happens. And yet she mutates into an snake. SnakesΒ eat rats thou.. :Y

I gotta admit it's sad. But now that she can turn into this epic snake thing AND human hybrid-looking, it's great and unpredictable. Plus, no one said she actually was mindless. It's obvious she still has will, since it seems like the new kind of mutagen wasn't tested. So, at least we know she likely has a will, she's just sort of a monster still though.

I am 99,9% sure that she will turn back to normal in the showdown episode/episodes . We just neeed to be patient for four more episodes.

No worries , she will (or she will just learn how to control it).....Nickelodeon had to mutate her becouse if she had stayed with splinter and the turtules it would be something like a happy end, and this shouldn't happen before the season finale.

Look at the wiki, it still says thes allied with the turtles, plus the mutagen did include some of the retro mutagen, maybe it didnt affect her memory. Point semi proven when she didnt kill splinter.

Some how I wasn't surprised Β that Karai got mutated into a snake.
She already did have a face/stare of a snake from the start (and coincidentally on the TMNT/Pokemon memes me and other fans did, we all chosed a Seviper as her main Pokemon) .
I do agree that her Naga (humaniod snake) form is an improvement from Cobrato from the 87 cartoon episode "Snakes Alive"Β cdn.static.ovimg.com/episode/1β¦ .

And that's why the writers don't listen to the fans. This is much more interesting than that. Karai has never been a good guy in the history of the franchise, closest we got was not actively hunting the Turtles after the "City at War" arc ended, waaaaaaay back in the original comics.
