AN: this is my entry to summerfourtyonerulze's contest, but it won't be a drawing, as you might of figured out, but a different [very different] take on the classic "kaa" stories. this is my first attempt to combine a Kaa story, and Naruto fan-fiction [sorta]. i hope you enjoy this, as i'm gonna try to improve the backstory from my first attempt, and please comment on what you think about it.

setting: Hidden leaf forest.
Character age: 18, unless said otherwise.
Mature content level: moderent
Setting: after Naruto defeated Madara Uchiha

Today, we are in a forest, just FILLED with life. we could see the wild life esist here as well. of all the things to be found, a pale, lavender-eyed girl is continuously training. this girl is non other than Hinata Hyuga. After training non-stop to impress him, she finally stopped to merely rest. "i....i..need to continue....he wouldn't give in..." she said, getting tired, but then remembered that he as since then basically was always passing out on te training field due to this. Hinata is, of course,thinking of Naruto Uzimaki. little did she know that the infamous Kaa the snake was observing her, along with someone else, but is too well hidden to be observed. "ah, what a tough, attracive girl." the snake smirked. the girl was as oblivious as possible; she couldn't really focus on anything at this point; se was too tired to care.

"father....will kill me...if i......fall a....a...asleep." Hinata said out loud, assuming no one was listening. "aw...that's so sssssad." hissed the nearby snake. Hinata, sarting to snap out of her tired state, said "www....wwhh....who said than?" she said, getting scared. "jussst a friend here to help." he said. "now tell me, have you ever dreamed of sssleeping in a sssssssankes coilsssss?" he asked. Hinata, slowly falling under his influence, said. "nnnoo...no...not really." she said, resisting. "ooohh well, i'm ssssure you'll change your mind." he reensured her. "i...i....oh." she said, seeing his eyes begin to swirl colors. she didn't offer any more resistence, as if she could. as he continue to brainwash her, be began to sing his "trust in me" song. once he had here in his grasp for good, smiling and semi-asleep, he began to wonder rather or not to eat her. "sssuch a beautiful creater shouldn't just be wasted on a mere dinner.....but i might never get suc a perfectly crafted meal again..." he wondered. "i think i'll take my chances.... i've yet to eat today, anyway." he said out loud.

just before he devoured her, feet first, a bold voice said "sorry, snaky, but she's not you meal today, or anyday." "who could that be?" Kaa snired, looking around; just then, a fimiliar Blonde man landed infront of the snake. "ssssso, wo would you happen to be?" he asked. "i'm Naruto Uzimaki. who the hel do you think you are?" he said. "i'm kaa the ssssnake, and i'm a rather hungry one at that." he answered. "now, i think i know how to punish you. the girl coud be a later meal." he said. even Naruto got the hint; he was the snakes next meal. Kaa let go of Hinata, whispering 'i'll be back, my ssssssweat.' he said. she sat their, smiling and unconious. "now, you, i'll make this quick." he said in an annoyed tone. "just look into my eyes" he said, as his eyes swirled up in colors again. Naruto's eyes did light up, but if Kaa payed attietion, Naruto's eyes were still annoyed and crossed, and his fist would break themselves if he squeezed them any harder. Kaa, getting cocky, said "now, just trussssst in me." Kaa said. but as soon as he did, Naruto, Naruto jumped tward him, grabbing the snake's throut, slowly choking him. Naruto's eye's slowly came back to normal. he loked Kaa in the eyes, something Kaa has never seen before, and said "now, slithers, let me get this straight; if you ever even consider coming back to my village, then i'll kill you." Kaa, having the sense of fear in him for the first time in a long time,decided to take his advice, and left ASAP. Naruto, having dealt with that problem, didn't was a minute getting backto Hinata. she was still laying there, just smiling. "hey, Hinata, are you ok?" Naruto whispered into her ears, thinking she was asleep. she mumbled "yes....master..." Naruto was completely puzzled about that statement. little did he know, that Kaa's spell was a little weary now, and that she'd believe anyone was her master right now. "Hinata, please just come too." he pleaded.
hinata did, and the spell finally lost it's affect.

"N--Naruto, what are y--y-you doing here?" he said. Naruto relized that Hinata must not of remembered the whole snake thing. he decided to explain wat happened. Hinata had ingored a good part of it, and had one question. "what wereyou doing around here?" she asked. "um....um....just training." he said, getting a little red and a sweat or 2. [i know that blush, it's the kind i get when i try to avoid telling the truth to him. he's hiding something. wait, was he watching me.....l-like i did to him?] Hinata thought to herself. "anyway... Hinata, i need to talk to 'it'" he said. Hinata completely understood he meant the Nine-Tailed Fox.

inside the nine-tailed fox room:
Naruto was inside the caged room with the Demon. te creature broke the ice, saying "so, you wanted to see me for once out of you're own will; i'm flattered." he said sarcasticly. "hey, Foxy, i need to ask you something. what's this...thing i feel?" he asked. "well, i'd say it has something to do with the Snakes powers" "what?" Naruto snapped. "ooohhh, i forgot, since i'm so nice to you, when you looked that snake in the eyes, i decided to give you it's powers. now, anything can be your's to control. just let it trust in you." he Joked, before going slient. "i really can hate this thing." while in the room, he decided to think about the power he just got; even Naruto was able to understand what it just said. after wondering what he could do, inata came to his me mind. "she...has loved me for so long." he thought. Hinata must truely love him, if she's been able to put up with how oblivous he's been. he still isn't about how he feel's. 'maybe....i could maake it up to her." he said.

now, Naruto finally came back to reality, with Hinata still beside him. "so..what did you talk about?" she said, in the cute tone Naruto really loved. "that's not important rigt now, we have bigger things to talk over." he said. ['we?'] Hinata thought to herself. "Hinata, i have a pan in mind, put i need to know something from you." Hinata started to turn 10 different shade of red. "Hinata, do you still ove me?" He asked. "Y-YE-YES" she exclaimed. "because, i do still love Sakura," he said, almost killing Hinata with those words "and you, too." he said. Hinata felt like she died and was reborn. "y-yy-you m-m-mean that?" she managed to say. "i do. completely," he said. "but since i'm the last of my Clan, i DO fall under the clan restoration act, the council just couldn't allow me too, with this damn fox in me" he said. Hinata, while listening and agreeing, was obviously was trying hard to avoid feinting; the news of him loving her was a little much. "so you want me and Sakura to be you w-w-ives?" she asked "in short, yes," he said. "but Hinata, i do want you to know tat iowe you for al those years i've ignored you." he said, grabbng her shoulders. "N-N-Naruto, what are you doing?" she asked, getting nervous. "Hinata, trust trust in me." he began to sing, in a Tone close to that of Kaa. Hinata couldn't help but look into his eyes as his voice went through her head. Hinata soon got the idea of what Naruto was up to, and completely gave up any resistence. "so, Hinata, are you feeling good?" Naruto asked, with some hope in is tone. "oohh, yes, Naruto," she said, with a loving, somewhat cheesy smile on her face. she was OK with Naruto hypnotizing her, as she was his little puppet, and with him being in love with her, too, se completely trusted. after she was completely under his spell, he decided to begin to "touch" he, and was surprised on how "Mature" her body has gotten. he then put some factors threw his head: mostly how Hinata compared to Sakura. Now that Naruto thought about it, Hinata was better than Sakura......in every way. Hinata was the first to except Naruto having the fox in him. she never went crazy over him after it was announced that he was the 4th hokage's son, like most girls did. she was also mucher nicer than Sakura ever was, and still is. she also had of a more "natural" beauty. "how could of i missed you?" Naruto asked a brainwashed Hinata. she simply said "you have me now." Naruto felt kinda werid, and finally thought 'maybe she deserves better than this, or is this 'better' to her?' he carried her bridal style to his new compound.

ELSEWHERE IN THE FOREST-------------------------------------------------------

Kaa the snake, now starving, had came to a sad reliazation; whoever that blonde kid was, he stole his powers. "ssssshould ate that cub-girl when i had the chance." he hissed. without his song and eyes, he can't even get a pure and simple mouse. "maybe i could ask him for help. nothing elsssse could really go wrong." he said, starting to slither to the village, but not for a girl, but for help.......

How WILL THIS END? we'll have to wait and see...
