yeah, philOSophical does apply. by the way, were you really reading the canterbury tales in old english? or was it middle english? if they offered an old english class at your school, i would be so surprised. plus, i can't imagine who would go through the trouble of translating middle english into old english. i don't think the rhymes would translate at all... whatev.

nah, it was middle english. I jsut don't know the difference. if it's old, I assume it's old. english that is. I'm sort of extrememely ignorant about these things.

but it's still impressive. we're reading the pardoner's tale 'n' prologue in middle english right now... and i don't think i could tackle the whole thing in middle english... that would kick my ass...
