Description For me, this week has had its ups and downs. But if I'm gonna be honest here, I think this has been one of the best weeks of my life!

I got a great score on a recent class assignment (Helping me get back to successfully completing the class.), the weather's begun to cool down a bit, Chris Chan is FINALLY getting comeuppance for his actions, and I cleared the Galar Battle Tower!

I've tried climbing up through the ranks there throughout the years. But after a while, I kinda just quit to focus on training for Online Competitions and Ranked Battles. It wasn't until earlier this week however when I decided to put Pikachu and Blastoise's skills to the test and took on the Battle Tower once again. (I also wanted to take it on again in order to get Pikachu a special ribbon before I take him to Sinnoh in Brilliant Diamond.) And after some tough battles, I made it to the Master Ball rank, defeated Leon, and finally beat the Battle Tower!

It took me a few years. But with the right team and a little training, I did it.

To celebrate, I drew some new artwork!

With their time in Galar finally over, Pikachu and Blastoise take to the sea to visit Sinnoh for a while!

It took me a LOT of time in order to make this. (I thought it'd take me 3 hours to finish. But, I continued working on it for the WHOLE day...) Then again, you can't really rush art.

This was my first time drawing Blastoise. So, I had to look at a few references while drawing it. (Which included the awesome model viewer in Pokémon HOME!) I also tried my hand at some background art with a shot of Wyndon. (I had to take some creative liberties with a few of the buildings and sights though...)
I wanted to make this look as cool as possible. And from the looks of it, I think I did a pretty great job!

It was tough getting the ribbons in view. But, I think I managed to make them a little noticeable. My stepmom brought me a pack of Crayola colored pencils one day. And, this was the first piece I ever made with them. I was a little worried about using them out of fear that people would've thought that my choice for color was too childish or made my art look like it was made by someone who wasn't that experienced. But after needing more colors, I decided to give them a try. And to my surprise, they work pretty well! I usually use more professional colored pencils like Prismacolor. However, these Crayola pencils did the job just fine! I should try to use them more often alongside my Prismacolor ones.

I've had a lot of awful things happen to me throughout this week. But moments like this made it pretty cool!
Now to work on some more art before I go off to play Pokémon Battle Revolution!

Pokémon (C) Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc.
