I did this in 2005 right after Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door came out adn I got thee daum game*bein funnie*. That's when I wanted to make a comparison of the partners on who was better out of the opposites. But now that I think of it, the first Paper Mario was better than Paper Mario:TYD. Sad to say, but it's true. My favorite one on this pic from PM is Bow, and from TYD is Vivian!! YAY Vivian!!!Paper Mario & Thousand Year Door(c) Nintendo

Yeah, TYD had much more content and battle options... But the world and atmosphere of the original, in my opinion, just can't be beaten or recreated. By anything. Not even Fallout 3. (And it took me a LOT to say that.) Plus, the first one holds so much more sentimental value... Still, TYD is one bomb-ass game, one of the best (if a little childish) RPG's of it's time and platform.

Weird. I think I was about... 4 years old when I played a Mario game for the first time.
