There was so many colors for the Nintendo 64 and the first generation of iMacs.Ā Why can't today's consoles be more colorful?

It's sad that half of these colours weren't produced.

Gamcube is awesome!!

True, it really can't be expensive at all for Nintendo to produce their consoles in a whole rainbow + of colors.Ā I know you can get custom shells and skins for your consoles, just would be nice if they came official that way!Ā ;D

; ) Definitely brings back memories. I don't know why they never actually released multi-colored gamecubes.. Doesn't make much sense being that they would have sold like hotcakes! ^___^

Well, not in so many colors as the N64, but there are some color variations: silver, blue, black and orange, and I've even seen a Mario Kart GameCube and a PINK GameCube (along with pink GBA and other consoles).
But, oh well, we can at least see what would they look like with this picture!

I love the variety of colors.

Great job.

Glad you like it faille. ;D And thanks a lot for the comments.
I modeled this in Softimage XSI 'Mod Tool', which is a free version to all, 100% legal from Softimage, that is basically intended for use in creating 3D content for Video Games / Mods, etc. There is only a few limitations compared to the Softimage XSI latest full version. As in, no hair, crowd simulation, and it has limited rendering capabilites.
Although, it is very simple to learn and one of my favorite programs I have used for 3d models. : )
I recommend giving it a try, or at least checking out some other works created with it. It is insanely powerful with it's full version.
Thanks again faille, I appreciate the support. ; )

Thank you roguecard. I appreciate the comment. ;D
I use XSI Mod Tool to create the mesh, uv'map, texture, & compile. I would render in XSI Mod Tool, but it doesn't allow rendering without Watermarks. And also, I believe Mental Ray isn't given with the Free XSI Mod Tool.
I would model with 3DSMax, but I have spent more time learning XSI then 3DSMax. So I just use Max to create renders. : )

Definitely a wonderful program. I am actually thinking about possibly learning how to model + uvmap with it more, but really am not wanting to have to relearn another program. It took awhile for me to start feeling really comfy in XSI.
