sometimes you just gotta have a conversation with a pile of snow that mildly resembles your best friend 😔i still haven't gotten around to reading the moomin books, but i have seen little snippets from them, including the part that this scene from moominvalley was based on, and it's really interesting to see how they changed it to better suit a visual format! this whole scene in general, both in the original book and in moominvalley (the latter version being what this drawing is based on) is really interesting to me! snufkin's an intriguing fellow, isn't he
i'm pretty happy with how this drawing turned out! i particularly like how i drew snufkin. he's just a little lad
my mum saw this drawing sitting next to me earlier today and she started gushing about how good it is and how i should do something art-related with my life... so that's fun, haha
even if this drawing doesn't get any attention or praise online, at least my mum likes it lol other inktober drawings
