Wow. It's okay to impale a dragon in the chest with a sword, but later when it comes to Disney deciding on how it should move in certain directions, say Gaston's death by the wolves, the alternate ending for Robin Hood, etc. It's considered too dark for the kids.

I always love this part of Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty! This triumph is my favorite Disney Battle scene between Prince Phillip and Maleficent in her Dragon Form.
I loved it when the 3 good fairies enhanced Phillip's sword of truth to slay Maleficent by her evil heart.
