The Milky Way.. this photo was taken in Dadeldhura, Nepal. I have never seen so many stars in the night sky.. consider this is about 0.005% of the night sky.. the rest of it just as magnificent as this.. there are light paths you can see.. that make you believe the stories of old.. paths going somewhere.. somewhere..Related content

it was the same with me - it was freezing cold and i'd had a very long tiring day but i still couldn't resist going to the terrace to look at the stars while drinking a cup of tea (which was cold in seconds). The place I took this shot - Dadeldhura in Nepal is quite high up and there is zero light pollution.. i'd recommend you go there if you can
