They are making bird jokes about Marco since Marco is a phoenix. the knock knock joke Haruta made is comparing Marco to an Owl. Ace makes fun of him by using the bird Jay (jaywalking), and Thatch and Izo made an implied sex joke.Β

Et tu indeed. Oh Izou. It's such a fine line between 'enemy of the derps' and 'friend of the derps', but you walk it well, my friend. He's so in between...like the bridge between the kids who are allowed to be naughty and immature (daddy's boys) and the kids who are all grown-up and well-behaved (mommy's boys). I think it's both a blessed and a cursed position...and no one can do it like Izou.
This was, like, expression-mecca. Amazing. Simply amazing. And I think Ace is MVP of the face Olympics team. One minute he's spittin every which way; then - the amazing squinty eye look of shrewdness; next - doing the whole blown-up cheek, teeny mouth; next - the teeny mouth is moving up his face and his eyes are explodin with sparkle. Just WOW. He needed that push in the water to cool down, man! Dmn!
Your chibi style is just like eating fistfuls of chocolate and suffering no repercussions. Not only the fabo expressions (honorable mention is Haruta's accomplished face and Izou for the whole thing, btw), but also how well you reduce their detailed characteristics into a teeny being of goodness and cuteness!
