No, I highly doubt she was. That would have been an important factor in the series, and no doubt it would have been mentioned. Also, think about the Sharingan and the fact that she would have been the only female in the series to have been shown with the sharingan. They would have defiantly mentioned that. Though it has never been said that she wasn't an Uchiha by blood, or that she was, if she were, I believe Kishimoto would have mentioned that and attributed it to Itachi and Sasuke's characters, and also, Tobi/Obito would have mentioned it when speaking to Sasuke about the cou.

look at the character sir. she has all the defining characteristics of an Uchiha. pale skin, dark eyes, black hair general build. You do realize that not all Uchiha unlocked the sharingan right? that it was actually something one had to be in a very specific set of circumstances to receive. It isn't important at all. Mikoto isn't an important character in the least. Why would Obito mention it? it's had nothing to do with anything he's said. Really he'd only bring it up if she WEREN'T an Uchiha by birth. I think you don't quite understand how big the uchiha clan was. the clan heads family at the absolute least could marry in the clan without inbreeding happening. Why would he bring it up while talking about the coup? Why would sasuke not know his mother was an Uchiha? He did, because she was. Why would a non Uchiha carry enough senju hate to actively support the coup? Mikoto was a jounin and would have fought in the coup if Itachi hadn't put and end to the clan. Uchiha Mikoto was always Uchiha Mikoto.

Here's my opinion: That really means nothing, the whole feature thing. Fugaku has tan skinned and brown hair, that's not Uchiha like. It's mentioned in Fugaku's bio that he hails from the Uchiha, it defiantly would have mentioned that Miktoto hailed from the Uchiha as well, that would have been something very important to mention. With Tobirama saying the Sharingan is the curse of hatred, i'm sure they would have tied that into her character. And because I understand how big the Uchiha Clan actually is, with the cou, the curse of hatered, etc., it would have defiantly been mentioned that she was an Uchiha by blood, and again,  it would be important because she would have been THE ONLY GIRL UCHIHA really mentioned (other than sasuke's granma), Kishimoto would have attributed that to the series, that would have been very important. Kakashi, he was a jounin at like 15, being an Uchiha doesn't qualify one to be a jounin. 

Also, when you get married, typically, you take the last name of your husband.

You don't seem to understand that the Sharingan only activates when you put your life on the line for someone you love. It's very realistic that Mikoto wouldn't have one. look at a picture of Fugaku and Mikoto. They look like cousins at the very most. She is the only female Uchiha really mentioned, but as the ninja world isn't as sexist as real life but still sexist that doesn't matter. none of the female side characters except Tsunade, Temari, and TenTen were anything special until just recently. So? I was pointing out that as a jounin she would be involved in the fighting. A non Uchiha wouldn't just betray their family and village at the wims of their spouse. neither of Sasuke's grandmothers are ever mentioned in the series. if you mean Nekobaa she's not related to Sasuke. In the real world you take the name of your husband, because of centuries of women being viewed as little more than broodmares, not something the Naruto world has grappled with. Mikoto was always an Uchiha until Kishimoto says otherwise. don't let your western views and your fanon tell you otherwise.

We both have our own opinions, and because it hasn't been said otherwise, i'll continue to believe Mikoto is just an ordinary ninja who doesn't belong to the Uchiha.

You'll continue to be wrong. if she had a different shade of hair, or different eye color you would be right. However she doesn't. she's Uchiha colored through and through. more than Fugaku is too.

Well, that's ignorance right there. There's no proof saying that she's an Uchiha, there's no proof saying that she isn't, until we are given proof, each to his/her own. It's just our opinions, however, I stopped taking you seriously when you said, "You'll continue to be wrong," that's rude and childish. According to your standards, Shizune could be an Uchiha too.

Shizune isn't married to the uchiha clan head. shizune is apprenticed to a senju. To each his own is a cop out. Uchiha Mikoto was born Uchiha Mikoto.
