This the update of the writer's diary journal skin. The changes are :-1) The journal is now centered. (thanks to `GillianIvy & ^neurotype )
2) Added a cursor (tested on Firefox & Safari)
3) Added new Title and subtitle You can edit or remove that from the skin header. Read the instructions below:-
Instructions on how to change the 'Title' and 'Subtitle'
First click 'Edit skin' on the left hand side of the screen where you're typing your journal entry.
then a window appears, which has 3 main sections 'Skin header' , 'Sin CSS' and 'Skin Footer'.
Under the 'Skin Header' you can edit the subtitle.
This skin has been tested on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari

As you've noticed, I ain't a premium member and so I can't test the issue.. but when I try this on my Stash, it works. Have no idea why this is happening on your end though.

It's not your fault, don't worry. I've tried this with loads of other skins and none of them are working for me, and I dunno why.
I submitted a ticket on DeviantArt's support section and I'll see what they say.
The journal skin feature * does * work, but only when I click on "no skin" and edit that and create a new skin that I make myself. But I'm not good at CSS, which was why I wanted to use other people's skins.
It is a conundrum ):

Regarding your question, 'Edit Skin' still exists as far as I can see. As you land on the Sta.Sh Writer page, look over to the far right side of the page where 'Style' window is located. As you select a skin, in this case my skin, just next to the 'Style' is the 'edit skin' link. Click on that which pops up the CSS box. I hope that helps.
