Beautiful white lion under the stars.It would be a dream to see these guys roaming back in the wild freely again.
This drawing is without a doubt Lion King inspired. The scene with Simba and Mufasa looking up at the kings of the past is one of my favourites
The sky turned out better than I'd expected. I was worried it would look 'hacked' at with pencil... I was gooing to pop in a shooting star or acacia
tree but I think it looks fine empty. Perhaps a hidden meaning? The white lion is incredibly rare and this drawing has emptiness or loneliness about it.

I absolutely adore the detail on this piece. The lion's fur looks gorgeous, especially the hair sticking out on the dark background looks stunning~ It's so detailed that I swear I could count every hair on his mane ^^

And the scene with Simba and Mufasa is touching, especially the music there... when they play for a while and the music gets intense... I love the soundtrack from TLK ;_;

Yes, soundtracks are beautiful, and TLK one is my all time favorite <3 Have you heard the musical version? It has a few amazing songs that weren't in the movie (Shadowland and Endless Night) and is also great to listen~

Yes I have indeed! It was a long time ago (in my years) I was only about 8 years old, I remember it but only vaguely the emotion.
Live theatre gets me everytime I always end up teary by the pure genious, beauty and talent.
Im 17 now and I'm very exited to be going to see the Lion King again next year! So uncontrollably excited! I shall have to listen for those other songs
Theres a fan-made Disney version of the song 'tell me I'm adored' (I think it's called) with Scar and Nala on youtube, with real animation! maybe just have a search around if your interested.

I wish I could see the musical too :c It's been my dream since I've discovered that the musical version exists, but unfortunately, I can't :c The closest country I could go to to see the musical is Germany, but I'm too poor for that and probaly wouldn't understand much.
Live theatre is something beautiful! I've never been to theatre myself (I live in a small city so there's no theatre here) but I've seen a few acts for kids in elementary school and I loved them. Some day I will totally go to theatre and see something, a musical maybe... ^^ For now I just watch musicals that came out on dvd, especially French ones because the music is good.
Yeah I've seen it! The song is calles "The Madness of King Scar" and the animation is stunning - if not for a few anatomy mistakes in Nala's animation, it'd have looked like Disney made it... I really admire the skills of the person who've made it!

Well, I hope you'll be able to see some live theater some day, you surely won't regret it.
My two favorites are 'Wicked' and 'The Phantom of the Opera. Actually Les Miserables is in my top faves now too

This is so beautiful!! And I think you're right, it doesn't need a shooting star or tree. The emptiness actually makes it look better in a way. Either way it would look fantastic! ^^
