Description Siri, my Child of the Pheonix character. Erm...can't really think of much to say about it other then I've been trying to get this type of sketch done for a while. Might do another in the future.

Done in watercolor, with small amounts of copic markers, and of course, inked with copic multiliners.

I love that the phoenix looks like it's glowing...were you playing with frisket? The movement in Siri's hair is wonderful! Did you find out if a lightbox worked with the paper?

*scuffs foot in dirt* Yees. Frisket was involved...But he's the one who did it! XD
It took me so long to get the movement right. Uhg. I was so close to throwing my block across the room, but it turned out well. The painting of it makes it look like it's not watercolor at all, though...
Unfortunately, my experiment is incomplete. Josh has been mistaken this WHOLE time, and they ended up getting rid of their lightbox way back when they lived in Olrando, which is like...8 years ago...
So yeah, all those times I was going to buy one, and Josh is all "we have one at home!", I should have just gone with instinct and got one...
I'll just have to get one when I have the money. They aren't too expensive.

Wonderful composition in this picture. The fire is pretty, especially the effect of the little sparks coming off of it. You're very good at using watercolors.

Thank you so much! I've been overly parinoid(as people have been telling me) that the fire looks okay. XD I'm pretty new at watercolors and still learning, so you telling me I'm good at them makes me feel real good and confident Thank youuuu!

that's amazing! I'm always impressed by anyone who can use watercolors very well. Beautiful colors and character, wonderful job!

I'm still pretty new with them, actually. You should try them, just play around with them alot. You'll learn to use them and experiment It's alot of fun, actually. ^_^ Thank you so much on the comment and fav!
