Two little bunbuns hopping through a flowery field. Went with a simple style because their colors stand out so much on their own.

It had been a quiet morning, the sun slowly cresting the horizon in all it's golden brilliance, painting the landscape in an array of lights and shadows pleasing to the eye. O'Neil and Serenity had found a warm spot to spend the night, cuddled close to prevent any chilled limbs, their fur doing it's intended job. At first light the two had awoken, stretching stiff limbs and shaking off the last of their dreams, rising to nibble at the dew covered grass and talk in softened tones for the next hour or so while the sun made it's climb. It was a quiet, peaceful communion between the two, both coming up with new topics to keep conversation flowing smoothly and the morning was passing quickly as they spoke about hopes, life, and even mundane topics. Nothing was considered too boring of a topic to speak on, and they found comfort in knowing that the other took a true interest in what they were saying.

Stomachs sated and with all the fresh energy of a good night's sleep, Serenity lightly tapped O'Neil on the shoulder before bounding off, musical voice calling out 'you're it' as the start of a fun game of chase. O'Neil gave the purple-hued mare another second of lead before bounding off after her, chasing her across the field with a smile on his lips and a ready laugh. He was surprised to find how lithe the lop-eared mare was, his own strides hardly gaining ground on her long leaps forward. She flicked her tail and laughed at him, slowing slightly to let him catch up, the stallion tapping her on the side with a chuckle as it stopped being a chase and just became a fun run across the field together, bounding over rocks and through the short, soft grass. Serenity ran towards a rocky outcrop, sticking out of the ground and well suited to send her head over heels if she weren't careful. O'Neil started, his mouth opening with words unsaid as she deftly ran up one side of the rock, springing off the top and into the air in a graceful arc. The rainbow stallion couldn't help but be in awe, watching as she flew through the air, landing lightly on the ground and leaping forward again.

The sun shone down on the pair, dancing off of brightly colored bodies, the paths of the two crossing and bounding around one another as they made it to the other end of the field, diving beneath the trees of the small wood, into the cool shade. The run ended at a stream, both stopping in order to cool dry mouths and parched throats, their sides heaving from the exertion but neither upset over it. O'Neil and Serenity had been spending the last few weeks in this way, the two drawn to one another - maybe by the season, maybe by the meeting of similar minds - neither were disappointed nor tired of it though. They had no concrete plans for the future, the two simply enjoying the present as it was and taking each day as it came.
