I started 2022 with this sketch of Eli. It's not their canon facial features anymore, but I still like the general vibe :]

'Aspects' is a fantasy solarpunk + cyberpunk setting, and I realized what it has been missing: bright eyeliners!! Therefore, now, all characters should get fashionable details.

Elliot (they/them) is a serpa, and, like most of the people of that planetary race, they are very androgynous; a very tall and lanky person, they have a body type suitable for survival in the conditions of his native planet, but it can be somewhat uncomfortable for the conditions of the rest of the world. And, of course, there's the main distinguishing feature of the serpas - snake eyes.

Elliot's physical appearance (unlike so many other features) has no particular significance to them. Ironically, despite being the one character with many planetary racial features being noticeable in their appearance, Elliot wasn't born on their home planet Serpher, have never known their parents, and therefore never did actually "reunite" with the cultural ancestors.

So it's not like their makeup is a cultural thing. I just think red looks good on white 👌🏻
