Here's to hoping deviant art doesn't butcher the colors again. -_-If anyone would like to take a stab at coloring the lineart for the character here for themselves, it can be found here: [link] And you're welcome to have a go at it, just add mention that I drew the lines and shoot me a note or comment if you do because I'd like to see.
I finally finished another piece, yay. For those of you wondering, the character in this image is a pureblooded Arkanian thus the white hair, lack of pupils, and four fingers. This one in particular is a character that I use for Star Wars oriented D20. Explosions seem to come up a fair bit with this character, her past in particular was somewhat shaped by one so I felt an explosion in the background would be appropriate. And I couldn't draw her without her rifle, 'Baby', it tends to raise a few eyebrows.
I don't know how long I've worked on this, it's been what I've worked on when I've had little breaks when doing work the past few weeks. And nothing there is a photo-shopped image, it was all painted in Corel Painter, even the explosion which took me awhile to figure out how to paint.

Of course they don't. They blow things up and they walk away.
And well Arkanians see into the infrared... so it would probably be painful to look at without protective eye wear.

I'm sorry, I just can't help but make blasted puns, still that one was too cliche and heated. It could blow up in my face. Nevertheless, this is a rather smoking picture.
Seriously though, I love the cape and that is a pretty cool button there. Although, for a moment I thought her rifle was a bazooka.

And yeah not a bazooka though it is a pretty big gun. Heavens only knows what would happen if she wound up with a bazooka equivalent. She uses a disruptor rifle so I wanted to ensure it looked like something pretty wicked and likely not legal. I do badly want to invest in a mini grenade launcher attachment to strap to the top of it though at some point, and a bayonet just for kicks so I can have a rifle of doom.

I'm going to ignore the part of my head trying to figure out how a bayonet on that thing would even work and say more grenades is definitely a good thing.

Hah well if anyone tried to engage my character in melee, it might be useful. But it would mainly just for the novelty factor of having a rifle with a knife on the end.
