not much new here, just wanted to show the ultra-comfy theme I've been running since I finally switched to litestep.visual style - windows classic, 3dcc by me
icons - gnome from the tango patcher
wallpaper - 'renew' from the nature details pack
litestep - blend of zero by jive (kareem) and a theme he started for me based on this mockup
firefox - tiny menu, titlebartweaks, custom userchrome.css, custom theme
start page - my mod of twelve by noka
applications - zeed image viewer (reshacked), pidgin, mirc, y'z shadow, qttabbar
font - lucida grande

i love this quite a lot! and i managed to rebuild this from scratch with litestep today (not bit for bit, but almost). thanks to your screenshot, your great 3dcc theme and everything else around in this! it is a real joy to switch on my machine again each day

hey mate, i've one question about qttabbar..
does it use visual style - based tabs or can you customize them?

it uses the visual style for the colors, not so much the exact tab specifications though. i haven't really played around with it and tested with other vs's all that much.

using a program called qttabbar: [link]
in the preferences for the program, there is an option to hide the menu bar, and the address bar can be hidden in windows by right clicking it and deselecting it.

is that the default mirc channel icon or did you change it? because my channel icons are small (ugly) blue and white windows, and I'm looking for a way to change them to anything else

i'm pretty sure that's the default program icon, yeah. i don't think mirc is patched with the tango patcher. it sounds like you might need to update or reinstall the program. the blue and white window icon you're describing is a default icon that windows shows for basic dialog boxes or when it can't find a program icon.

not it's the default channel icon in mIRC, sorry for not clarifying that, but nevertheless I hate it and want to reshack it, but mIRC.exe is compressed with some exe compressor so I can't :/ and true transparency doesn't work for me, s I don't know what to do about it.

yeah I tried that and it work, but if I open new programs they get a random icon say ventrilo gets the my computer icon and stuff like that, so after I start a new program I need to restart it to work :S
