I realized that I hadn’t ‘steampunked’ Renji yet, so Steampunk (themed) Abarai, here you go!
Renji is famous of his hair and sunglasses, so I wanted to give steampunk Renji a nice pair of shades and a wild mane he can be proud of. His clothes are probably wrecked, ripped and damaged, but the hair is always in a perfect shape, decorated with all kind of hair ornaments.
Maybe he’s part of some airship crew and a mechanic of some sort in the Steampunk Universe?

Omg this really did catch my eye in deviations. Amazing job, really. I have always loved how you have patience to make all those little details in your pictures. This isn't exception. >u< Oh those hair ornaments and accessories! Lookin' so good. Haha, that stick with little tentacle is my favorite. XD And little skull~
So cute hehe. But yeah! This really is work you can easily to be proud of. u_u I would love to see it with shadows and maybe some simple steampunk--ish background idk! Well this is great in the way it is now too, of course. Good job!

I thought about trying to make shadows and little touches here and there, but I wasn't sure how I could execute the idea. I feel painting isn't my strongest point and I didn't want to ruin this :'D I probably will do the shadows nevertheless and update this pic, at least try it out and see how it looks. OR then I simply draw another Steampunk Renji, with proper coloring :--D At least I would have an excuse to draw him with this look again...~
