Clover had found a nice room with two beds in the Rattles Rest. It was a rather small room, but it was comfortable and safe. They didn’t need more. Her father was currently at Dr. F’s so he could look at his broken wing. Hopefully it was nothing too bad. Dr. F had suggested to her, that she could go ahead and prepare everything, since it could take a while.
She left the Rattles Rest and wanted to head towards the Cranny. She had left all of her stuff with Xavier and besides that, she really wanted to see him again. It had been nearly two weeks since she had left Wynsiph.
Though Xavier had to wait a bit, because Clover suddenly spotted Chase outside of the Rattles Rest. What a funny coincidence! She had to greet him!
„Hey! Chase! I’m back!“, she called and the blue wyngling immediately turned his head towards her.
„Clo!“, he exclaimed with a big smile on his face.
He dashed towards her and jumped up to hug her.
„Woah, another big hug? You guys must have really missed me!“, she said laughing, while catching him.
Finn had already given her a hearty welcome and she didn’t expect less from Chase.
„Of course we did! You were gone for so long! Did you at least have a nice trip?“, he wanted to know.
„Yeah, it was really nice and it helped me a lot. I also didn’t forget about the picnic you’ve asked. How would you feel if I brought one more wyngro to it?“
„Oh, that’s fine! Who do you want to bring?“
„It’s a longer story, that I can tell you later.“
„Alright. Are you in a rush? If not, may I ask you something?“
„Of course!“
„There is this pet contest and I’m still looking for new members. Would you like to join my team? I won’t get mad if you say no!“, he promised.
„That sounds lovely! You know, Finn told me about this contest and I agreed to build a team with them. So… I hope your team can also accept them? I don’t want to leave him hanging…“
„No no! That’s actually perfect!“, Chase assured her, „I only have one member, so if you two join, we will have a full team!“
„Great! How about I quickly go to Xavier and get all of my stuff I left with him and afterwards we can meet up with all of our members! I’m sure they’ll be excited to know, that we already have a full team!“
