Well, I saw that you wrote "Always thank you, Mom" in Japanese so...I wanted to write a parallel comment (using the limited amount of knowledge that I have, please forgive me for any mistakes ) since the picture is just so cute with that little message! Germany sounds like such a cool place though, have to visit one day
My friends and I would watch one Miyazaki film a week and now we are almost done with all of his Ghibli movies and we are going to tackle all the other Ghibli films after Ponyo! Ghibli movies are so awesome!!!

No worries (is English your 2nd language? Cause English is a difficult language to learn and I think that your English is really good already )
Spree, as defined by the dictionary, is "a sustained period of unrestrained activity of a particular kind."
So it's just doing something almost uncontrollably for a while, like I have been drawing Pokemon non-stop for the past few months so I have been on a Pokemon drawing spree. Or girls who like shoes and clothes often go on shopping sprees.
I hope that was a helpful way to put it, I'm horrible at explaining...

Hehe, probably Just drew a Totoro for a friend's birthday, it just needs some cleaning up (first time drawing Ghibli characters, I hope it looks alright )
