Yeah, I agree. Of course he also gets a gym leader to follow him around *coughbrockandmistyandcilan* And what's with Cilan and referring everything to cooking? He sounds truly gay or retarded or something. I swear Ash and Pikachu get weaker and weaker with every season. I mean, they lost to a brand new trainer with a snivy. Those are like level 5 and by now pikachu's got to be at least level 80 or something! Even without using electric type attacks it should be a One-Hit KO.
