His walls had failed him, pulled apart by something happier--no, more resonant than he could remember. It resounded inside and shook away the metal that had formerly kept everything at bay. Now it had to be shared, but in a different way. An added change, a headache waiting to happen. There went all his work, every last resonant protection.
