This is 'vent art' i'm actually feel quite low at the moment. I've not heard back from the uni i want to go to, and although i have the right to an interview i suck big-time at interviews because i just get so nervous
I'm also doubting my art again, and i know i always do this, but i can't help it, when I'm surrounded by so many far more talented artists.

As for university interviews, I got much better at interviews after a little revalation.
The Interview is a two way thing, remember that they need to show themselves in the best light too, to meet your standards. Ask them what they can do for you, what are their strengths and weeknesses. Let them ask their questions first, but write your questions down, and let them know at the start that you've got things you want to ask too!

Self doubt is indeed a part of being human (especially a human artist 
You are improving all the time, I would hate to see you give up on something you are obviously meant to do in life.

I know I do all the time, but you just have to pick yourself back up and if art is what I love to do, keep doing it
You'll do great at your interview, it's natural to be nervous. I remember when I had my "portfolio evaluation", it can be nerve wracking, but it really was a fun experience, and I survived

I think i'd feel better if i actually had a portfolio to show
The one thing i know i do have is Passion, dirived from my dream of becoming a Illustrator, which i'm hoping out shines the kids that are doing it for the sake of going to uni.... i can only hope at least.

You have lots of wonderful pieces here that show your potential - I don't think you have anything to worry about. I guess you need payday to print off stuff?
Do you have the rules/guidelines for your application yet? Mine was very specific, one of the requirements was a self portrait. Oh how I wish I knew where that is now, you'd get a laugh - but they keep our portfolios. I've improved leaps and bounds since then.
If you need any help picking out pieces I'd gladly help you out, if you'd like.

If i haven't gotten an email or letter by the time i get home from my break tommorrow, i am going to ring them. I will ask about any requirments while i'm at it
Yeah i need to buy a good portfolio, and get good prints done of certain bits. I'll be putting some of my college stuff in there too, but i'll be in touch, see what you think when i get started.

Interviews aren't all that bad, They might have some info on the internet on how to give a good interview. Just talk to a lot of people are college to kill that nervousness.

lol nahhh i did that for the first 21 years of my life.... took me about 2 years counciling to learn to get that shit out lol. I used to find it difficult to tell people how i felt or evan reconise myself how i truly felt. Vent art is the perfect way for me to get out my feelings
