NL-Lynx β€” New Wolf?

Description I found a local guy selling these guys so I picked one up today. He had a wolf (we're pretty sure it is, he's getting it dna tested) too that was caught close to where this guy was. There have been many questionable coyote-wolf hybrids and just wolves caught here in the past few years. I think someone brought more critters here without permission again.
Anyway, this guy is about 70" long fairly soft and has way darker guard hairs than my definite coywolf Ripley nl-lynx.deviantart.com/art/Rip… . He's got more contrasting colors too where Ripley is just mostly golden. What do you guys think?

This guy is probably mostly wolf with a tiny bit of coyote in him, but not much, Ripley is definitely a coywolf, sadly I found out after reading about them more. So don't mid me calling him a wolf all that time lol.

I saw this killer black wolf at a fair one year, only $300. I wanted it so bad but I had no $ and dad said he wouldn't let me use his $ he thought it was a waste c.c I wonder now if it was a wolf, and not a black coyote though.
