The was a total blast to draw! I genuinely enjoy all of my commissions and this one really amped up my level of fun. Truth is that I'm a big ol' softy at heart and I was delighted to create a sketch card with a romantic spin.
In particular I like Gambit pulling off Rogue's glove. For those who know the characters it adds a level of storytelling and cuts right to the classical theme of forbidden love.

I appreciate that! Especially because I was a bit nervous to finish his eyes. I was pretty happy with the way his head & face turned out overall and I was worried that as soon as I added those black and red eyes it would fall apart and make him look creepy. Nice to know that didn't happen.
