In the background you can see a part of greater London, in the middle the financial district of Canary Warf.

I own a few lasers myself, no where near as powerful as the one at Greenwich which is 5W (5,000mW), and the beam from them only goes about 2 or 3 miles. Then again that's probably because I only have a 75mW green laser, 50mW green laser in a projector, 90mW blue ray (violet) laser and a 100mW red laser.

LOL... You don't say. I don't know a thing about lasers, but I do have one (red).
It's one of those cheap Chinese ones, I don't know its specs. It came on one of those crummy air soft guns...
What do you use yours for? Mine is for use on long exposure photos, but I'm still testing what it does.

You probably have a 5mW red laser.
My pointers are just for fun really, although I have used my 75mW green pointer for star pointing and even pointing out where the ground is level in the garden. The scanner is self explanatory, I just use it for family parties and messing about with.

Well, I've been to the US, and there's a lot to see just in North America.

True, we've got things like Bryce Canyon and Mt. St. Helens or Niagara Falls, but you have to drive to all these places, and they are spread all over. Best place for a location vacation is probably in the Midwest, for the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Yellowstone, etc. They're kind of all in the same area, just with nothing nearby.

Tenho só uma pergunta, o que originou aquele traço de luz que percorre a foto desde a árvore (segundo galho a contar de baixo lado direito) até quase ao estádio? Pergunto isto pk podia ser um avião, mas em três segundos acho que não fazia o caminho todo... Meteoróide?
