Added some Photoshop colors to the pencil drawing. I think I went through about 50 different ideas for how to color his shorts. Eventually I just Googled "urban camo" and found a nifty camouflage pattern and used that.His legs still feel a little too short to me, I might have to fix that later on.

Well, it is based on a photo of Mark Hughes, Matt Hughes' twin brother. Does that help?

You noted that you feel the legs look short to you.
I think it's more that the feet might need to be larger, and that his calf muscles might need to be thicker. Those are some thickly muscled arms, and it looks a little like he's in a slight bird's eye perspective because his legs are so thin in comparison.
Regardless, it's a very handsome illustration and love your work.

I've always felt they seemed a bit short, however that would give him more leverage in some situations. Nicely 3-D!

It's always difficult to coordinate colours and designs, which ones work best, but I think it looks pretty spot on, I love the gray camo, kinda helps accent his eyes. Nice work =]
