Thanks! I would probably imagine him with more of a wrestler's physique with the broad shoulders and the thick neck and back muscles. But a lot of guys who wrestle in high school also play football, so I guess it works both ways.

What I think is really part of the appeal of Hank is that he looks like he could be the all-star high school jock on the outside; but he's far more at home in the library solving complex algebra equations and reading the dictionary for fun.

Your photo ref. is great and I see where you're going with this. I really love the expression you gave him, and really captured --what I think -- it what I've always loved about Hank McCoy; that regardless of him being blue, furry, a genius Ph.D, what-have-you, there is a basic humanity to him that makes him such a great and long lasting character, and I think you've caught him beautifully. So nice to meet you!

Yep, it's based on a photo I took of Matt Hughes, former UFC Welterweight Champion. It's not intended to be a portrait of Mr. Hughes, I was just using it as a reference.
