Thanks!! Lol when you said "sitting by the side of the road," it was the first image that came to mind. XD I should've made it a Route 66 sign lol

Can you please start doing art for Marvel or DC? Or maybe even start your own company and make epic comics that I can oggle over? Thanks, that would be appreciated.
I love your linework. The variety and control is really apparent. What size of pens and kind of paper do you use/recommend?

A'baaaww thank you >< <333 I wish I could work for Marvel or DC DDX -dreams-
Thanks X3 For these, I used regular ol' black Pilot ballpoint pens. They're so much fun to use because they respond much better to varied pressure than a regular inking pen, which puts out the same opacity no matter how hard you push. But the inking pens I have/usually use are the Micron/Sakura brand - I vary from .5 to a .1, and then a brush-tip pen for thicker lines. Or, if I'm feeling patient enough, I use a dip-pen with a standard nib. Uuhhh as for paper - the one on the left was drawn on smooth cardstock (I sketched it while at jury duty, it was the only paper I had DX ) and the one on the right was on heavy sketchbook paper.

Bugging you again with another one:
When you use the ballpoint pen, do you only use it for work that's strictly line art? I'd assume that it would start to bleed if you used markers or water colours when working with it.

Usually, just line-arts, because the ink isn't India and will promptly bleed/smudge/blur when you add a wet media to it. But sometimes, I put the wet media down first on top of thin pencil lines and go on top of the wet media when it's dry to use the ballpoint pen. That way, you get the best of both worlds - color and texture/ink effects of the ballpoint <3
