ah, I see what you mean with title and comment. beautiful perception.
but I see a humble green matador daring those impertinent blues and violets!

There's no such thing as a humble matador
They're all evil.

this one certainly tries to. but it's too feeble to be evil.
anyway, it's your creation and your interpretation.

Nice focus. I like the last petal looking like a...cape? blanket? mumu? curtain? red satin undies?
I'm put off from my desire to pick it though, since it is already mostly dead.

Have you got a fast 50mm Jessie?
Nikon make some pretty bloody good ones that won't break the bank.

I have a slow one, lol.
When I bought my camera, I bought the "beginner" kit. The 18-55 w/vibration reduction and the cheap zoom.

I love photography. But I love looking at everyone else's almost as much as I like creating. Since I am just learning...I probably should put money towards taking a class. Who the hell knows?

If, no when, I get a new lens I was looking at getting one from Sigma or Tamron. Of course, Nikkor seem to be the "best". But, as of right now, my life is too much and looking into it is requiring time and effort I am not willing to expend.

You want a fast prime to go with your kit lenses when you want sharpness and better abillity to shoot in low light.
This is the one that I'd buy as it mirrors the natural human field of view on your cam.[link]

Very nice lens.
I read all the info they had on it, and looked at a few different shops to check prices. That is a great price, btw. And you went the extra mile and found me an American shop...so...what do you want? Your niceness is usually wrapped in something else for camoflauge. lol...nevermind. That's not an appropriate question for you (or any guy really. to be fair it's a loaded question for anyone).
So, I shall thank you, and if/when I buy it I will take a picture for you! No, you can't make any suggestions.

How do you know what my niceness is usually wrapped in?
I've never been nice to you before have I?

Anyhoo, everything should be researched properly, even $200 lenses, and Theres other stuff you should check out.
I don't think it has very good bokeh for instance.
This guy knows his stuff and tends to tell it like it is [link]

i will be owing you that photo. this lens will come in handy with a lot of what I do in everyday capturing memories moments.

I'm getting some intense colours and contrast with this new lens.
Don't know whether or not to reduce them in pp or not.

Some stunningly beautiful photos there Mate.

It is funny we have simalar new glass, I was told to go into "custom settings" and turn "sharpening" off. I have yet to find when to do and when not to but if you havnt tried that give it a go, it gives a different effect

Me too I can go into " image" where it lists normal, vivid, b/w etc and at the bottom it says "custom" where it says , tone compensation, hue, saturation and image sharpening mine can be turned off..... if your can it is an interesting effect. Maybe yours does so automatically..... I say this only kuz I didnt know it existed till I got this lens.
