hi every onethis is one of my illustrations with theme of persian mythology.

unfortunatly i didn`t find the english discription of this creature on english wikipia.
this bird called (kamak)it was responsible and lands ruins and dryness of earth.it was so big that covered all the sky and didn`t let the rain to come to the earth any hoe it was killed by (Gershasp)after 9 days.

Persian Mythology is so rich and vast... unfortunately it is undiscovered by most people because of the mis-education... i myself am a big fan of Shahnameh heros and other sources of great Persian Mythology!
