Archaeologists deliberately left these example of architecture in their ruined state.
Classic period, end of the twelfth century.

Such a neat looking place! I think they actually went here to film Tomb Raider in 2001. I was intrigued by this place in the movie.

There are so many details in this photo it makes you want to be able to zoom in even more to make sure you did not miss anything. This looks like it came from an old film reel from the 1920's or 30's.
