WOW! I like the luminosity of this painting , the way you have captured the girls expression and the slight tonal changes in the background. The composition really makes this interesting as the girl is looking into that space and it all seems natural.It also reminds me i haven't done pastels in about a year -damn i need to try them again

I think this is exceptional -- the intensity conveyed in the young girl's furrowed brow and her distant eyes, the red flowing hair abruptly cut off at the top, the dynamic balance struck between the offset subject and the massive golden space. It has both an involving intimacy and a commanding power...
