Commission forShe asked Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. I was given free reign for the rest.
Finally finished it..
Medium: Caran d'ache supracolor soft watercolours and black marker +wax blender
Paper: A4 180 gr drawing paper
Time: Did it when the kitten was asleep, it still managed to get some pencils on the floot

well The Major looks great you captured her look quite well. you did a great job with shadowing i mean its realistic shadowing and it puts her in a realistic environment. i can tell this is traditional and im glad i got to see one last of my kind doing great artwork out there.....it inspires me to keep drawing......the color toning on the eyes is good you did some good detailing there.....not to mention the detail on the jacket......it looks like a leather jacket....not to mention her lips they even though the light color of the lipstick cant be easily seen among the flesh tone you clearly see them.....they only think i dont like is that you didnt draw a a background.........seriously thats it........i love it and im glad i was able to see it thank you

Thank you! The lips are indeed barely viewabke but didn't want to make them too dark. It wouldn't suit her image, in my opinion. Glad that you like it, as for the background, I had no idea what to do with it. Guess that's my weakest point..

you can add city-scape to it.......i mean if it would help look at my gallery and see the backgrounds i use for my pictures.......i might give you ideas

No problem, just wondering. I know how it is to be distracted. I'm afraid I'll be more distracted as the pregnancy is progressing. Still feels weird. I'm going to be a mother in october
