Oh my, what a wonderful piece to arrive in my in box tonight. I do like a bit of Bjork every now and again so this was a pleasure to see.
The simplicity with a few minor details really brings together a great representation of the personality in question. Almost going from a grey tone image into a blue colour with the use of an overall gradient going from the hair to her sweater. Great colour scheme!
Always being a fan of simplistic shading, this has been done very effective. Enough layers to bring out the details in the hands/fingers and to bring out her eyes.
I find the fact it's rather symetrical also rather charming about it.
I can't help but also feel this vexel is very androgenous looking... with the simplicity brings the not so much detailing which would bring out the feminine side of such a character... and lets be honest Bjork can often be androgenous herself. It's wonderful and relies more on the impact of how well it's put together rather than any asthetic beauty you'd find in the likes of Angelina Jolie etc...
The only critisms I'd point out is that the fly away pieces of hair... if you start the strokes a lot more inside the area of hair the wisps would look more connected to her, rather than floating on the sides.

Wow, the tones are really well done. The hair could be a bit better I guess, but it looks really great. I especially love the eyes and hands.
