This here's a fox by the name of Derrick. His tail gave me hell. >.<. Anyway, I spent all yesterday doing this picture... a new style, for me. Slightly realistic, paintsy kinda coloring. I know, the background is extremely simple and poorly colored but meh. I love how Derrick came out, though. And that poster is for 'Def Leopard' lol.Anyway, FULL VIEW PLEASE!
Done entirely in Photoshop 7
Took a good fifteen-twenty hours
And I listened to nothing but classical music and modern orchestra during its creation

Yup, thats college life! Don't worry so much about the textures. Focus on shading and highligting to make the shapes look 3D, like you did. You followed the light source nicely, its pretty well done.

Oooh. I really love this. The pose and concept remind me of myself and my room, though my room's probably messier. o-o;
You did a nice job on the coloring too. The softness of it compliments the casual feeling the overall picture gives. :3

Sleepyness is good.... You know what the strange thing about this picture is? It was originally of a female fur leaning against a building as if she were drunk. o_o.... perhaps sever exhaustion made me make it into a him... a sleepy him.

I can hardly ever get any drawing of mine to turn out exactly like the image in my head. It always gets majorly altered while I'm drawing... which is why I can't really use reference pictures. xD;

But you told me to critique it, so I'll say what I can find-
The lighting on the disks is off. There should be coloring away and toward the light source. Just checked with my own disks to be sure.
Other than that, outstanding. Faved.

Strange. o.o I checked with my disks when coloring... put on eunderneath a lamp in kinda the same way. It only had it away. o_o; Ah well, it was really late, and I had a habitual stomach ache.
