When I saw this I literally exclaimed "Oh Fuck"
Fantastic work. Love the positive and negative space and the strong command of Gestalt here. Also, I love your color palette choices, especially since they are slightly unconventional for the game's own palette. It definitely works well, nonetheless.
Love how his shield's design is illuminated (also LOVE that color)
And the very slight suggestion of the presence of the moon doesn't get lost in the dark geometry of the piece because of your choice to outline it with the same colors we see below. It's subtly brilliant.

Well, there are two ponds, which i would assume one's at the swamp. The mountain in spring could be another too. All I'm saying is I may be more excited for that than a hero mode.
