This is a watercolor illustration of the St. Nicholas Church, located at 146/3 Piskunov Street in the city of Irkutsk.
It is notable for being the most outstanding church among all the others in this city. It is located far from the center, its facade is m ade of wood, the roof is not gilded, and the most interesting thing is that it stands on the territory of one of the Emergencies Ministry's departments, if my memory serves me ... But nevertheless, I tried to portray it somehow in a special way.

The first time I saw it, I felt her isolation and modesty. The small, unremarkable church is surrounded by charred birch foliage, a long old house behind and shines in the bright sun at noon. And in this simple picture, there is a certain comfort and warmth. When granny came out of the church, she looked at me photographing, and said: -Take a photo. Come back often.
