Description
One LostBrightly does the sun shine
Down upon the frozen land of mine.
Its heat makes me want to play,
Yet a quick nudge from mother means she has something to say:
“Don’t stray far now
for its about time you knew how,
we hunters live on the prowl
for you’ve only been playing till now.”
Her fiery orbs reminiscent of coals,
Burn their dire message into my soul.
One yap and I’m away,
What adventures await me today?
The ground below my feet is rough,
As if it hadn’t already torn them up enough.
Yet on I go over rocks and hills,
Searching for never ceasing thrills.
A spirit free is what I- BANG!!!
Thus he stops as the sky dims,
Putting an end to his elfish whims.
Droplets of crimson color the snow that was once white, red,
And above sounds the wails of the dead.
For he is one of them-
The pup missing his head.
