To the left is the concept for a coat-of-arms, and to the right is the finished result. I believe it got quite close to the sketch.

The edit is actually quite simple, and took me half an hour in photoshop. I have realized it is a very easy way of studying design concepts, by painting on pictures.
The armour is made by Steel Mastery www.steel-mastery.com in Ukraine. (Customized my size, in stainless steel

I agree totally. The plan was to build a coat-of-arms that were both epic and at the same time
out of the way when moving in armour. And it were to show, not hide, the armour itself. That is where I got the idea of the band over the harness.

Awesome. you did a great job of it. I'm particularly fond of straps and things that cross over your body and longer coat tails like that, so this was right up my alley of.. designs I like.

It was a swedish larp called "VΓ€gens val och bΓΆdelns hΓ€mnare"("The road's choice and the executioners avenger") In spring 2012.
And yes, the name of the event is silly.
