i made a species called tama dogs and they are basically super fluffy dogs with huge beads and magatamas and these big ones are probably big enough to ride

oke! well, some basics:
tama dogs are obviously very fluffy hehe. go nuts with the mane! but remember they have the huge bead collars, and the colors can vary but usually the color of the magatama (the main bead, the one that looks like a yin yang half) is the same color as the eye. Some tama dogs have bells as well as beads, they can be little jingly bells or regular bells! The beads are important because it helps them channel their magic. uvu
