The Dark Son, Efrit.
Eldest child of Noctorus, Elder God of Darkness and Urala, The Cold Flame. What we see here, is his final appearance after four books of adventures and having finally accepted his role as a deity, on the behest of The Eternal Ancestor (creator of the entire multiverse, gods, elder gods, and planets included).

Born to an Aethorn Mother and a Elder God father, Efrit, like his sister, is a halfling of god origins. Efrit, at this phase of his life, has his body constructed of solidified darkness, tempered in the flames of a thousand neutron stars.

After spending several years in the afterlife, he was called upon by both Ongim and The Eternal Ancestor to take up his calling as part of the Deities. sacrificing his only chance at an afterlife and perhaps one day being together with his family he left behind involuntarily, Efrit merged his Soul and existence with the concept of the soul and the Soulstream itself which maintains all after lives, both heavens and hells.

As a being of pure darkness, Efrit is capable of shifting his body into weapons of solidified darkness. Alongside this, he is able to teleport as often as he'd like. Besides this, he is still capable of the same speed, grace, and strength he had in his original body, but improved further by his new occupation and form.

In addition to this, he was able to directly connect his form to the main source of Aether itself, granting him infinite usage of his Aether magic without the downsides he once faced as a mortal. This includes the use of elements as a weapon, changing elements to different forms for other uses, the splitting of atoms in extreme cases, and so forth.

With his Soul Reaver and his other capabilities, Efrit ensures that the Soul Stream remains in balance and whole.
