Okay, so imagine the first Quidditch match after Lily and James started dating; Gryffindor wins and James doesn’t rush down to the rest of the team, but flies to where Lily is cheering in the stands. He takes a hold of the railings as Lily leans towards him. What are you doing? She whispers, grinning, and he grins back saying, Showing everyone the real reason I’m beaming like a bloody fool, before kissing her in front of the entire school, with Dumbledore whistling and cheering like a maniac.
